For stains on clothing; whites, colored, darks, couch covers, dog beds, etc. My family and myself for years!! It may sound a little weird, BUT I promise you, 409!! works like a charm to get tough stains out, let it sit for a while. I'm a mom myself and use this on every material i can throw in the wash. I swear by it!!!
